Tandika International Institute
We are always imagining new ways to make our communities better.
This year, we identified a need and how to meet it.
We discovered that many children travel long distances to look for clean water. This affects the time they arrive at school.
To help solve this problem, we constructed two water wells in February and one borehole in December of 2021.
The communities near the water wells and boreholes now have a reliable source of clean fresh water.
As a result, water communicable diseases and hygiene related illnesses in the communities are expected to drop. This means that families will no longer have to spend their savings on medical bills and can use that money for education instead.
We are grateful to our board members and friends for all the support and unwavering commitment that make these projects possible.
The local support we receive is reassuring. We see fellow Ugandans who, in whatever way they can, want to make life better for their fellow citizens.
Thank you.
